Cooking Instructions

In a frying pan, melt butter and cook onion without browning. Add hot cream and spinach. Cook until desired consistency. Add Canadian parmesan. Salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and stir until smooth. Serve as a side dish or a dip.

  • 250 mL (1 cup) 15% cream, heated
  • 30 mL (2 tbsp) butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 L (4 cups) fresh spinach, coarsely chopped
  • 30 mL (2 tbsp) grated fresh Canadian parmesan
  • To taste salt and pepper
