Prosciutto and Dijon Cream Buns

Cooking Instructions

In a bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form. Add Dijon mustard, mayonnaise and basil. Slice open olive bread buns and place a lettuce leaf on each bottom half. Top with 3 slices of prosciutto and a dollop of Dijon cream. Pepper to taste. Repeat for remaining buns. Close buns with top halves.

  • 250 mL (1 cup) 35% whipping cream
  • 75 mL (1/3 cup) Dijon mustard
  • 30 mL (2 tbsp) mayonnaise
  • 30 mL (2 tbsp) chopped fresh basil
  • 4 olive bread buns
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 12 slices prosciutto
  • To taste pepper
