Mango and Basil Cream Croissants

Cooking Instructions

In a bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form. Fold in mayonnaise and basil. Slice open croissants and place a lettuce leaf on each bottom half. Top with mango and tomato slices. Salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with 2 dollops of basil cream. Repeat for remaining croissants. Close croissants with top halves.

  • 250 mL (1 cup) 35% whipping cream
  • 30 mL (2 tbsp) mayonnaise
  • 125 mL (1/2 cup) finely snipped fresh basil
  • 4 croissants
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 ripe mango, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • To taste salt and pepper
